Kolkata: Bharatiya Janata Party supremo and the key architect of BJP’s electoral victory in the country Amit Shah will visit West Bengal on Wednesday. Shah’s visit will be marked by a string of programmes including a key meet of the party officials.
Sources said the visit is to assess the dwindling situation of BJP in the state. The recent issues like the cold war between BJP state president Rahul Sinha and Roopa Ganguly and the expulsion of Hriday Ghosh is likely to surface in the meet.
Amit Shah along with addressing the business community of the state will also be holding a meet with the Sangh leaders in the state. The visit is likely to gear up a swaggering BJP for the upcoming Bidhan Sabha polls 2016 in West Bengal.
