Amit Shah Instructs Party Workers To Help In Majerhat Rescue Work


Kolkata: BJP national president Amit Shah has asked party workers to help in the
rescue work in the Majerhat bridge collapse. He instructed officials in Kolkata
soon after hearing the news.

Moment the news reached the BJP office at 6 Murlidhar Sen Lane, a part of the party
left for the spot. BJP leaders like Rahul Sinha, Ritesh Tewari, Sayantan Basu,
Locket Chatterjee, Debjit Sarkar and other reached the spot.

Amit Shah took to twitter to say:

“Anguished to learn about the collapse of a part of bridge in Kolkata. I have asked
our @BJP4Bengal unit to join the rescue operation and assist people in need. My
thoughts with families of those affected. May the injured recover soon.”
