Albie Morkel becomes the most capped T20 player


Mumbai: South African and Daredevils allrounder Albie Morkel has become the most capped T20 player in the world with 268 matches. Albie overtook Kieron Pollard of MI and West Indies. Both players are currently playing in the eighth edition of IPL.

Morkel played his first T20 match in 2004, has played for the Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings before being roped in by the Delhi this season.After Morkel and Pollard, next in the list of most-capped T20 players are David Hussey (243), Ryan ten Doeschate (240), Brad Hodge (233), Dwayne Bravo (229), Dirk Nannes (215), Alfonso Thomas (214), Luke Wright (214), Azhar Mahmood (213), and Owais Shah (213). For India, CSK skipper MS Dhoni leads the pack with 192 games.
