Al-Jazeera journalist sentenced to imprisonment


Cairo: Three journalists of Al-Jazeera have been sentenced to three years of imprisonment for allegedly helping terrorist organizations. The sentence was pronounced by an Egyptian court in Cairo. The decision of the court has been opposed by the director of the Al-Jazeera Media Network.

He alleged that the three named journalists named Baher Mohammad, Mohammad Fahmi and Peter Greset have been the victims of political conspiracy. They were convicted in June 2014.
