Aircraft Crashed In North Yorkshire, 2 Dead

London: A light aircraft has crashed on Saturday morning in North Yorkshire with a suspected two casualties on board, police said.

Emergency services were called to the scene near Castle Howard in the Ryedale area at about 10:40 BST.

The aircraft crashed in fields between Castle Howard and the A64, North Yorkshire Police said.

The Air Accident Investigation Branch has been informed. The public has been advised to avoid the area and a number of roads have been closed.
