Air-India flight catches fire mid-air


Kolkata: An Air India flight caught fire mid-air in the nose wheel. the flight was bound for Delhi from Varanasi. Over hundred passengers were on board. Several passengers were injured. The flight made an emergency landing at the Indira Gandhi International Airport. All passengers were evacuated to safety.

The flight landed at the runway number 27 of the airport which was temporarily closed down and all the passengers were evacuated. Some of the passengers who were injured have been sent to the hospital. It has been known that the passengers were not injured during emergency landing but when the passengers were being evacuated.
