Ahead Of Panchayat Elections, BJP-TMC Clash In Bagnan


Bagnan: Ahead of the Panchayat elections, clashes continue in south Bengal districts.Trinamool and BJP supporters were engaged in clash on Tuesday in Bagnan’s North Benapur village. Many persons were injured in this clash. Immediately RAF deployed in the area to tackle the situation.

According to the sources, A TMC member was badly beaten by several BJP workers on Sunday night. And, after that incident broke out. After hearing this, TMC cadres also attacked BJP supporters and it turned into a clash. Nearly twenty houses were vandalized and many car, bikes set on fire.

Bagnan Police the spot to tackle the situation. Howrah BJP Gramin President Anupam Mallick alleged that TMC members tried to molest women after the public rally of MLA Raja Sen.
Anupam Mallick also alleged that hundreds of TMC supporters reached to the spot with bike and vandalized the house of BJP candidate Chandan Pramanik. Police reached the spot in delay after called several times.

But TMC party of the area denied the allegation and said that BJP members at first attacked on their members. Three TMC party workers was badly beaten by BJP cadres at first. Police investigate the matter to nab the culprits.
