Kolkata: Ahead of Loksabha elections, Mamata is busy drawing up a plan to corner the Narendra Modi government.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee criticized BJP led goverment on several issues, including the implementation of the NRC in Assam. She vociferously opposing Modi government’s decision. Few days ago, Mamata wrote a poem on NRC issue. Now, Mamata Banerjee has penned her thoughts on the Aadhaar matter through a poem. The Bengal Chief Minister has indeed written a poem in protest against the Center’s decision on Aadhaar.
Mamata posted a poem on the social media on Thursday, claiming that the Centre is intruding people’s privacy. Already poem started sharing by TMC fans. She does not favor to link Aadhaar with mobile number.
Now, Mamata through this poem criticised Modi government directly. It is titled ‘Unki Online’ and is written in Bengali. ‘Unki’ means ‘to peep’, referring to Aadhaar and its potential to create a country-wide reign of terror through knowing the intimate details of one’s life at the click of a mouse. Her objection to the Aadhaar system is very clear in that poem. Modi’s ‘Digital India’ has also been targeted.
Criticising it, she also took a dig at the Centre’s decision to make Aadhaar details mandatory in sectors like banking and telecom. “People’s lives are getting lost in Aadhaar,” Mamata said.
