After UP, Scribe Burnt Alive in Madhya Pradesh


Bhopal: Days after Journalist Joginder Singh was burnt alive in Uttar Pradesh allegedly by a Samajwadi Party leader, Madhya Pradesh witnessed another killing of a scribe.

Sandeep Kothari aged 44, a journalist from Madhya Pradesh has been set on fire and killed over a similar issue. Kothari had gone missing on June 19.

Police arrested two men on Sunday, after Kothari’s family filed a missing diary on June 20. The duo during interrogation revealed horrific account of how Kothari has been set on fire and buried in a forest in Maharashtra’s Nagpur district.

A police team has been sent to exhume the charred body of Kothari.
