After Panchayat, Mamata Leaves For North Bengal First-Time


Kolkata: Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will set out for her tour to North Bengal on Monday. Mamata Will reach Bagdogra airport on Monday evening and after she will leave for Uttarkanya.

Mamata will be holding several meetings in North Bengal, to take stock of the present situation of the work that has been taken up for overall development of the region.

She will be holding district level administrative review meetings and attending programmes in North Bengal districts. She will also be holding discussions on different issues related to tea gardens and its employees.

The Chief Minister will be holding the district level administrative review meeting at the state government’s administrative headquarters in North Bengal – Uttar Kanya – on Monday evening.

On Tuesday, Banerjee will be visiting Changrabandha in Cooch Behar, where she will be attending a programme of the state government. She will also be holding a meeting at Changrabandha on the same day.

On Wednesday, the Chief Minister will be holding the administrative review meeting of Alipurduar district at Birpara. She will be taking stock of the development works that have been taken up for Alipurduar, that has been curved out of Jalpaiguri as a new district.
