Kolkata: Congress leader Adhir Chowdhury has concurred with Mamata Banerjee on the center’s decision to postpone Metro Projects in Kolkata. In this regard MP of Bahrampur has assured a positive support to the state.
Central government has announced the postponing decision of Kolkata metro project on Tuesday. The decision has raised several opinions in political sphere. Mamata Banerjee slammed the decision soon after the announcement.
Adhir Chowdhury in a press conference said, Center promise a lot to satisfy common people but denies doing so. Center has deprived Bengal from development. In his opinion, he attacked Narendra Modi several time. He suggested that every year state should demand their necessities’ before Union Budget. Chief Minister will lead the agenda. If it goes positively, he will stand by West Bengal government for the sake of Bengal’s development.
Adhir Chowdhury is known as the opposition of Mamata Banerjee. Such move has amazed people entirely. But counterpart of political sphere said, he has been a well-wisher of Bengal since a long time so it is something very expected from MP Adhir Chowdhury.
