Chennai: After the second devastating phase of torrential and non-stop rain, leaving roads flooded and residents struggling to find a safe place to stay dry, Chennai has got lot of commoners into trouble, affecting celebrities as well. Kollywood and Bollywood actor Siddharth took to Twitter and shared a picture of his flooded residence.
The actor tweeted, ” House flooded. Moving to the terrace. God save Tamil Nadu. Bathrooms submerged. Water coming out of the drains. I am an affluent actor. This is my house. Imagine rest of TN.”
He further tweeted, “Many people died in their cars in the Bombay floods because power windows and central locking jammed. Don’t sit in broken down cars. #flood”
He posted pictures of his flooded house on Twitter. On Wednesday, he tweeted advice to his followers on what to do in case they were trapped in the floods and even volunteered help.

AR Rahman also shared his prayers on Twitter: “@arrahman Oh god, please keep my Chennai and its people safe from the floods.”
