Accused Should Be Reprimanded Soon: Opposition On Narada Probe

Kolkata: The opposition in West Bengal lauded Calcutta High Court’s verdict to allow CBI to conduct an independent probe into the Narada Scam.

CPM leader Surjya Kanta Mishra welcomed the decision. He lashed out saying that TMC had been trying to suppress the truth. The police had been mere puppets in the hands of the State government. The arrests were being made in various scams, but there were no signs of recovering money. Centre and state evidently have mutual understanding.

Parliamentary Ethics Committee have being surprisingly silent regarding the matter. No meeting was convened in the last 10 months.
