Aabesh Death: Police Crosses Fingers On ‘Murder Theory’

Kolkata: The police are reportedly refusing to dismiss the ‘murder theory’ on Thursday over Aabesh DasGupta’s death.

As per sources, a top official from Lalbazar said that a rumour has spread from a local police station that Aabesh was murdered. The lalbazar have decided to conduct an internal departmental probe into the matter to dig out the truth.

None were summoned to the Lalbzar on Thursday for enquiring into the mysterious death of Aabesh. The forensic reports have not come yet. The police are looking in all aspects of the matter. They are exploring all possibilities.

The Kolkata Police had already claimed that initial investigations into the death of Aabesh Dasgupta, a Class XII student who was found in a pool of blood after a party, indicated that the death was “accidental”. Police suspects that the 17-year-old suffered fatal injuries during a fall while trying to scale a fence to enter the playground inside the apartment complex in south Kolkata’s upscale Ballygunge. Vishal Garg, Joint Commissioner (Crime) of the Kolkata Police, said that initial investigations indicated that there was no foul play and that the death was accidental.
