Fotocol: Cameroon said that that nearly 91 civilians have been killed by Boko Haram militants, who attacked the Cameroonian villages on Wednesday.
According to the Cameroonian Defense Ministry, six Cameroonian soldiers and 13 Chadian soldiers have also been killed in the gun battle around the border town of Fotocol.
Defense Minister Edgard Alain Ngo said that 500 people have also been wounded in the attacks and the death toll may rise since most of the wounded have not been taken to the hospital.
Extra troops have been deployed by Chad and Cameroon to fight the Boko Haram terrorists since there are threats of further attack from Boko Haram.
According to the Cameroon Government, the Boko Haram militants also suffered casualties with more than 50 deaths.
More reports of fighting was received from Fotocol and the militants have supposedly burned Churches, Mosques and villages, looting livestock and food.
