9 killed in road accident at Nanded, Maharashtra


Nanded Nine people were killed on the spot and 22 others seriously injured when a mini bus collided with a speeding truck between Vishnupuri village and Shree Ramanand Teerth University (SRTU) near Nanded city in Marathwada region late last night. According to a report, a marriage party from Barad village was proceeding to Gulbarga in Karnataka state by a mini bus, with 30 passengers on board including driver.

The collision was so severe that the mini bus was totally damaged. All of the injured are being treated at Guru Govind Singh Hospital in Nanded. The names of the deceased were not identified, report added.
