8 jawans killed in Nagaland ambush


Gauhati: An encounter between personnel of the Assam Riffles and National Socialist Council of Nagaland (Khaplang) militants has left eight jawans dead. The encounter took place in the Mon district of Nagaland.

According to reports, the jawans were ambushed by the NSCN (K) militants, with several other personnel also said to be missing.
