Karachi: More than 57 persons were killed when an oil tanker hit a bus head on at Karachi in the wee hours of Sunday Morning.
The bus was engulfed in flames after it hit the tanker, which is believed to be travelling on the wrong side of the road. The incident took place on Link road, a few kilometers from Gulshan-e-Hadeed in Karachi.
According to sources, the bus was travelling with nearly 60-70 persons on board and was travelling from Karachi to Shikarpur. At least 57 bodies including some women and few injured were shifted to Jinnah Hospital.
According to sources, six injured passenger were shifted to Pakistan Steel Mills Hospital for further treatment.
