Simlagarh: It’s a big boost for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Hooghly and huge setback to Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress (TMC). In a major development in the state politics, five hundred Trinamool Congress members, including muslim member of the TMC, joined BJP on Saturday.
State BJP is spreading power in Bengal keeping view on Panchayet Elections. In this month, 500 TMC workers joined state BJP in Hoogly’s Simlagarh. Hooghly BJP leaders admired that incident. BJP state leader Joy Banerjee and Hooghly state secretary Bhaskar Bhattacharya present at this moment.
People across Bengal turned their face from Ma, Mati & Manush for party’s work and BJP uses this strategy to gain more power in Bengal. Apart from this, many minority Muslims joined BJP. Political think tank thought that Mukul Roy’s resignation from party caused this catastrophe.
There is no link between Mukul Roy’s joining in the party said Hoogly youth BJP leader Suresh Sau. He also added that due to deprivation many tmc workers joined state BJP.
