It may be mentioned that extending full support to the demand of ensuring shelter to the Rohingyas in India, Tripura CPI-M state committee had on September 14 asked the Centre to solve Rohingya influx issue on humanitarian ground instead of deporting them to their trouble-torn homeland in Myanmar.

CPI-M state secretary Bijan Dhar said cruelty has been inflicted upon Rohingya Muslims in Burma which has never been witnessed across the world ever before but being a neighbour India is also not taking firm stand on the atrocities.
