Midnapore: Actor turned MP, Dev was scheduled to visit his Constituency, Ghatal, from he has been elected as an MP in the sixteenth Lok Sabha Election. On his way to Ghatal, Dev dropped in at the Pashkura Vidhan Sabha area and made a controversial comment on Monday. Dev said that the Mamata Banerjee government was not at all prepared to take up the flood situation in West Bengal. He said that the state government was unequipped to meet this natural disaster.

As the flood situation triggered by heavy rains is deteriorating with time West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee stayed awake at Nabanna and monitored the situation herself.
