30 Dead Due To Disruption Of Oxygen Supply At Hospital

Gorakhpur: Thirty people died in two days at a hospital in Uttar Pradesh’s Gorapkhpur due to disruption of liquid oxygen over a payment dispute, district magistrate Rajeev Rautela said on Friday.

The oxygen supply at the BRD Hospital, the largest hospital in the Gorakhpur region, was allegedly stopped as the suppliers’ bill of Rs 67 lakh was not cleared.

Gorakhpur is UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath’s constituency. The chief minister visited the hospital two days back.
