30 abducted by Boko Haram in Cameroon

YAOUNDE: 30 passengers of a bus were kidnapped by suspected Boko Haram Terrorists in a town in Cameroon along the Nigerian border.

The incident took place in Tourou in the Far North Region. “The whereabouts of the passengers were not known. They were certainly attacked by the militants in an ambush.”

Earlier, nine Cameroon soldiers were injured in an attack on Sunday by Boko haram militants in kerawa town in the region. 11 bus passengers were also killed by Boko Haram militants on January 1 in the same region.
