3 Teachers Of East Midnapore To Be Awarded Sikha Ratna

Tamluk: Teachers’ Day will be held on 5th September. On the occasion of Teacher’s Day, The West Bengal government will confer Sikha Ratna award to the teachers. Three teachers of East Midnapore will get the award this year.

Tappan Kumar Jana, the head teacher of Haldia Rehabilitation Vidya Niketan, Arun Kumar Bhowmik, headmaster of South Moyna-2 Primary School and Durgarani Dey, Assistant Teacher of Narnada New Primary School.

On 5th September, the ceremony will be held at the Nazrul Mancha in Kolkata. Teachers are happy to receive the invitation letter. Tapan Kumar is a resident of Mahishadal. He has been served as head teacher of Haldia Rehabilitation Vidya Niketan for the last 10 years.

He is being honored by the state government establishing good environment in school premises, as well as providing good education to school students.

Arun Kumar is a resident of Moyna. He has been served as headmaster of South Manna II School for the last 26 years. As well as teaching, he has taken various steps to help society. Apart from teaching, he love to do acting. He has published a number of rhymes and poem books.

Durga Rani Dey joined Naranda School as a teacher for the last 10 years. She takes extra care of their studies.
