As per reports, an ambulance allegedly carrying the goons of Gadhara Hazra, Trinamool MLA from Nanur was ambushed by the hitmen of rival Trinamool leader Kajal Sheikh.

Enacting the scene from a Bollywood action movie, the attackers chased the ambulance in a scooter and opened indiscriminate fire on the occupants killing them on the spot.

The incident took place in Bolepur’s Bahiri village area under Birbhum district. The victims have been identified as Kurban Sheikh, Mortaza Sheikh and Buro Sheikh.

However Kajal Sheikh and Gadadhar Hazra rubbishes the allegations of an infighting and said the party has nothing to do with the event. It is to be noted that the ambushed ambulance was purchased from the grants made by Gadadhar Hazra.
