21 From East Midnapore Missing In Kerala

Tamluk: At least 21 people from East Midnapore are stuck in flood-hit Kerala.

These 21 people are from Paskura and Kathi, who whereabouts are unknown. Despite of maximum efforts, none of the families could contact them. Either someone is
stranded or missing. These youths are either labourers or workers in restaurants.

Many were supposed to come home this month. But they did not. The district
authorities are trying level best to bring them back.

The block and municipal authorities have been instructed to find out information of
the missing youths. Based on this, work was also done too.

Rashmi Kamal, district magistrate, said, “The relatives of the missing youths have
been asked to contact the local authorities. The authorities will make every effort
to bring back the workers from Kerala.”
