2 Trains Arrives Santragachhi From Kerala On Wednesday


Howrah: Two trains from South India have reached Santragachi on Wednesday morning. One from Tirupati and another one from Ernakulam. Thousand of stranded people in Kerala flood reached Santragachhi.

State Transportation Department arranged bus to reach them in their home town which is less than the necessasary. A group of people held road blocakde in Kona Expressway in protest of such reluctancy.

There are several buses avilable to Nadia, Murshidabad but no communication from Katwa, Bardhaman or South 24 Pargana. State minister Rajib Banerjee was present to supervise the situation at Santragachi station. Another train arrived Santragachi at around 3 am where mMinister Arup Roy was there.

The Bakhri Eid will be observed on Wednesday. So people are eager to reach their home as early as possible.
