New Delhi: NIA court discharges Sadhvi Pragya, 3 others from Malegaon blast case alleged main accused Sadhvi Pragya and three others have been discharged under Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act, 1999 (MCOCA), by National Investigation Agency (NIA) court on Wednesday.
All the accused in the Malegaon blast case are out on bail and will continue to be on bail the NIA court stated. Sadhvi Pragya and Lt Col Purohit will be tried under UAPA section 18 and other charges of IPC.
They agency also reported that Sadhvi Pragya ,Ramesh Upadhyay Ajay Rahikar and Lt Col Purohit have been discharged under MCOCA and 17, 20 and 13 of UAPA and arms act
The Court also ordered that the all previous bonds and sureties in the connection with the case will remain the same.
On 29 September 2008, six people were killed and nearly 100 injured when a bomb tied to a motorcycle exploded in Nashik’s Malegaon town.
