Virushka To Fly To This Exotic Location For Their Honeymoon


Mumbai: Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Bollywood starlet Anushka Sharma broke a million hearts as the duo exchanged marital vows in a secret ceremony in Italy on December 11. The biggest and highly-anticipated wedding was definitely the event of the year as fans kept an eye on every possible detail about their marriage.

The wonder boy of cricket ended the year on a delightful note as he tied the knot with Bollywood actress and the queen of his heart, Anushka Sharma.

The lovebirds flew to Italy, the destination for their super low-key wedding, in the wee hours of December 8. The wedding ceremonies were laid out December 9 onwards and the wedding finally took place on the morning of 11th December. A regal resort in Tuscany, Italy was booked by the duo for their special day.

Since the wedding was a highly close-knit and guarded affair, the newlyweds shall host two receptions – one for their family members and one for their friends from the cinema and cricket world.

Soon after the Delhi reception for the family members, Virushka shall move into their dream home in Worli, Mumbai. The two are also expected to register their marriage in Bandra Family Court on January 4. As for their honeymoon is concerned, South Africa is the probable destination for the couple to spend some quality time together before they give in to their hectic schedules.

The newlywed couple shall travel to South Africa where Virat will start prepping for the upcoming series and Anushka will spend New Year’s Eve with him and return in the first week of January to begin the next schedule of Anand L Rai’s film with Shah Rukh Khan in Mumbai. She will also start prepping for Sui Dhaaga as the shooting for the same starts in February 2018 with Varun Dhawan. Anushka will also be busy with the marketing and promotions of Pari which is releasing on 9th February.

Virat, on the other hand, will be playing the series in South Africa for 2 months which includes three Tests, six One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches.

Post their wedding Mr. and Mrs. Kohli will be shifting to their new residence in Worli, Mumbai in December once they return from Delhi.
