19 Year Indian-Origin Boy Becomes UK’s Youngest Millionaire

London: Akshay Ruparelia, 19, has become one of Britain’s youngest millionaires. This feat came after his online estate agency was valued at 12 million pounds (Rs. 1, 03, 28, 95,875) in just over a year.

His “doorsteps.co.uk” became the 18th biggest estate firm in the UK in just 16 months after Akshay set up his company where he sold 100 million pounds worth of properties. His company, which was funded with 7,000 pounds that Akshay borrowed from his relatives, now employs 12 individuals, according to reports.

During the initial phases of his business, Akshay hired a call centre to answer his work calls while he was at school. He would return the calls after his classes. His venture has a vast network of self-employed mothers who show clients the properties they are interested in.

Akshay, who has two deaf parents, is making them very proud and is supporting them with his new-found wealth. Akshay also earned an offer to study economics and mathematics at Oxford, but he decided to put that on hold to focus on his business instead.
