Kolkata: On 150 years,Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi who is commonly known Bapu will be remembered in 43rd International Kolkata Book Fair. In a press-release, Publishers and Booksellers guild has informed so and many programmes has been planned on this occasion.

The International Kolkata Book Fair will start from January 30 which will continue till February 10. The event will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Delhi, Hariyana, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka. Gujrat, Uttar Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh and Maharashtra will be participate in the book fair. Guatemala has secured the chance to be the focal country in this year.
This time, Iran is the first-time participant in Kolkata Book Fair. Few publishers of Pakistan will also be a part of this grand celebration of books. The time and the venue remain unchanged on this year.
