146 Died in Encounters in 2015: Bangladesh Report


Dhaka: 146 out of 192 killed in encounters by law enforcement officers and police in the year 2015, says a report by Human rights council.

Based on their information and data collected from newspapers the report is prepared. According to the report, based on complaints by family and eyewitnesses 55 have been captured from January to December. Out of them, dead bodies of 8 have been found, 5 have returned and 7 have been arrested.

And 192 have died at Jail or in encounter, says report. Out of which RAB’s encounter has killed 50. Police encounter kills 70, RAB and BJB encounter kills one, Ansare’s encounter one, detective police encounter 14 and Army encounter kills 6.
