100 Passengers Caught With 55 Kg Gold in Vaizag Airport

Hyderabad: The DVD players and microwave ovens they arrived with were worth their gold – literally. A hundred passengers, most of them men and reportedly from Tamil Nadu, are being questioned at the Vishakapatnam airport for allegedly smuggling in a whopping 55 kilos of gold in an assortment of electronic items. The men landed on three different flights from Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. More details are awaited.
